IELTS speaking test usually lasts anything between 11-14 minutes. So if your trial is starting, let's say at noon, you can expect to complete the test anytime by a12;15 or 12;25 max. It usually ends depending on how well you will be responding or generally your critical factors of nailing the answers correctly. It might depend on how many students are on the day you are supposed to give the test. But having said that, one need not worry, it usually does not take much time. Confidence is crucial, and the pronunciation of every word correctly and clearly. It is advised to keep it natural when you speak and should not be in a hurry while taking up the test. Coming to some of the tips, It usually always starts with the introduction. Just prepare the general stuff like, Your name, what you do and where you from etc. It is advised to construct the sentences without sounding child-like as in not sounding like a school kid. It is evident that you will have no control over the topic that will be asked, so as stated earlier, keeping calm and being confident.
