If you want to prepare for any of the Engish proficiency exams, then the first thing is to improve your grammar and vocabulary. This can only be done by practising it every day. Take out an hour or two from your day and put all your concentration on the modules that you want to improve in. Read a lot of English books, watch English movies (without subtitles) and when it comes to writing, try sticking to the point without deviating away from the topics. Once you feel you're prepared enough, you can take up the mock tests, which is similar to the actual test. It is evaluated by skilled professors or teachers who are proficient in English. It will build confidence in you when you enter for the test. read less

You need to first take timed mock tests for each exam to see where you stand. Then, if you intend to study on your own (i.e. your English is really good,) then you should keep solving and analysing your mistakes and taking as many mock tests as you can.

Hi Nandita, Take a timed mock test to see where you stand. Then analyse your mistakes and keep up the process until you are consistently scoring well.
