The chance of getting the score you want is quite unpredictable. It depends on your English language skills, your hard work, focus, and dedication on achieving the desired band score. Meanwhile, you might need to learn and accumulate some of the best techniques and tips to get the score that you want in the Writing section. Some of the basic writing strategies include:

  1. Have a solid time-management plan to complete your tasks on time
  2. Avoid writing unrelated ideas
  3. Avoid writing extra words
  4. Do not copy sentences from the question
  5. Avoid common spelling and punctuation mistakes.

For improving your overall English proficiency, you must practice at least 6 hours per day. Listening, reading, writing and speaking in English as much as possible helps in IELTS exam.

You should also learn all about the different type of questions and how to approach them. The great thing about the IELTS question (as a whole) is that it is relatively predictable so, be smart.
