There are a host of criteria to be noted before coming to the conclusion. However, more often than not people prefer RBI assistant over IBPS PO for following reasons: 1.More roles and responsibilities and after office-hours public dealings can never be ruled out for IBPS PO as against RBI assistant,which, being a clerical cadre, doesn't require toiling. 2.Although the salary might seem low initially,there is every possibility of periodic promotions and suitable hikes as the case may be. 3.Posting near native area is very much a possibility in RBI assistant compared to IBPS PO. read less

Tutor reasoning quant general banking IBPS SSC SBI BANK EXAMS

In my personal opinion RBI assistant and IBPS PO both are good u can go for any of these.But as m a banker I think career growth in commercial bank PO is more in comparison to RBI assistant.All the best....for any query u can follow my blogs which m going to update daily....
