Originator and establisher of this first of its kind industry in India to refurbish color picture tubes used in various industries. This was a joint venture with video display corporation, Georgia, USA, which absolved the India operations. Managing Director for Shakthi Concrete Industries Ltd., first of its kind for manufacturing Spun Concrete poles used in electric power transmission and distribution. This was established with a South Korean collaboration. Involved in Originator and Promoter for Wildon India Ltd., a unique project for manufacturing sanitary ware and solid surfaces. This project was a joint venture with Wildon industries inc., USA and was eventually bought over by a US MNC. Held Vice President position having international co-ordination responsibilities. Originator and promoter for Anand Granites Ltd., first of its kind industrial establishment for processing granites stone for a grater value addition. Directed all phases of its project, which included financial, field and export operations. Tutor as Assistant to Head of the Department of Computer Science, Houston, USA- 1985 to 1989 Responsible for teaching disabled undergraduate students who are below normal in computer related subjects at University community college at Houston, USA. Project Engineer, Arabian American Oil Co. (ARAMCO), Houston, USA- Saudi Arabia 1982-84 Responsible for commissioning of high speed computer control systems in the liquefied natural gas LNG), complexes refineries and gas power station complexes, responsible for field wiring, testing, commissioning and simulating various systems and then commissioning the total refinery complex by automation with the aid of Honeywell high speed 4500 series computers and total distributor control systems. Systems Engineer, GE Nuclear Business Group, San Jose, CA, USA 1980-81. Responsible for studying the existing as well as international (Chicago, Taiwanese, Japanese and Italian) Nuclear Power Control Systems and forming the proposals for enhancing the Computer Controls which improved reactor efficiency. Several new proposals were introduced and about 75% of them were accepted by the customers. Honeywell control systems, Long Island City, New York, USA 1973 to 1979. Held various positions as field engineer supervisor project coordinator applications engineer and finally project Manager on Control Systems group. Worked as applications engineers in the Engineering Division of Control Systems group which utilized High Speed Computer Systems for achieving the efficient control systems in such fields as Heating Ventilations Air Conditioning, Building Controls, Power Controls, Fire and Security Control Systems. As technical supervisor implemented high-speed controls in the above fields for the then world’s largest tower, the World Trade Center in New York. Finally, as Project Manager responsible for proposal formations, contract executions, application engineering, material procurement, commissioning, testing and acquiring service contracts. The company achieved a minimum of 25% higher profits.
