What's easier: learning the guitar or bass guitar? Why?

Not a big difference. No question about it because both are string instruments with frets.so same scale same notes same melodies but just a tip of different technique.

Hi.. Bass guitar is easier. It takes only two weeks. But practise is must.

The only difference is the gauge/thickness of strings a bass has vs a 6string electric/acoustic guitar has. Bass requires more finger strength.

Bass guitar fundamental is same as acoustic guitar however bass guitar only use for giving base in music and also beginners should start wid guitar once you spent few year in acoustic than you can move ahead with bass.
