Depends. Some people find basic finger exercises hard and some do Travis picking like a walk in a park. In my opinion nothing is hard in music. It's just how willingly you want to do the stuff.

Anything new is difficult to learn. If you're a beginner then fretting the notes, synchronization, switching chords, strumming etc will feel difficult. As you move forward then improvisation will feel difficult. There are many nuances. But everything is achievable with constant and correct practice.

Yes. For example, expensive acoustic guitars are made from better quality of wood compared to the cheaper guitars.

Suspended 2 chords & minor 9th chords are same
If you check carefully and calculate the degree of the notes of the chords, you will find that sus2 chords (3rd shape) and minor 9th chords (3rd shape) are the same. :)
