What is the difference between pitch fork and pitch pipe for a Guitar?

Difference between a pitch fork and pitch pipe, both are used for tuning string instrument basically. The only difference is the method and the medium the fork produces a certain tone by Vibration and the pipe produces a tone by help of aur blown into it.

pitch fork is a a frequency measuring device usually used in the department of physics Pitch pipe has 6 different pipes adjusted to 6 different frequencies which in turn matches to the frequency of 6 strings respectively
