What are the differences between guitar pickups for electric guitar?

Electric guitar pickups are placed under the strings where there is a lot of string movement - so a basic, passive (no battery) magnetic pickup works fine there - there is plenty of energy and we have come to like the sound. Electric guitar pickups are placed under the strings where there is a lot of string movement - so a basic, passive (no battery) magnetic pickup works fine there - there is plenty of energy and we have come to like the sound. On Acoustic guitars those same locations are taken by sound holes or the soundboard, so the pickup has to go somewhere else. Usually it ends up under a fret or under the bridge, and a different technology is needed to pick up the sound. Typically this is piezo electric pickup which directly transduces vibration into electrical signals. read less

Should I have to learn Guitar tabs first to learn songs or can I learn to play songs directly on Guitar?
You can follow any notation including tabs and staff.... But , It s better to learn music in staff notation because of details in notes playing....
