You can start playing with anyone. But I would suggest you to start with acoustic guitar. Because firstly it is cheaper option then buying an electric guitar. You don't need to buy anything like amplifier or processor to play acoustic guitar.....you can simply play it anytime you want without any other major equipment. But in case of electric guitar, you have to buy a processor or atleast an amplifier along with your guitar in order to play it (which costs you around 10k each if we will go for decent quality). They both sounds uniquely and best on their own. You can't get acoustic guitar's feel with electric one and vice versa. Acoustic guitars are lighter in weight than electric guitars. In the beginning you should play accoustic guitar with slightly bend action. It's good for your fingers. If you paly high action guitar some time later your finger automatically play fast some solos. But don't forget that your finger will run fast only on the right guitar.
