Should I have to learn Guitar tabs first to learn songs or can I learn to play songs directly on Guitar?

You can follow any notation including tabs and staff.... But , It s better to learn music in staff notation because of details in notes playing....

If your motto is to play some songs only then you can find how of reading tabs on net. But if you will learn guitar properly soon you will b able to play any song by yourself and can understand diff tabs as well.
