Electric guitars are easier to play. The strings are lighter and far more comfortable than acoustic guitars. One key aspect which makes electric guitars so appealing is that they are a lot smaller than acoustic guitars, so it does make learning more comfortable

Get yourself in musical world and stay tune

if you alreadly have spend so much time(in years) and you are good in playing acoustic guitar,then only you should go for an electric guitar...otherwise acoustic or semi acoustic guitar is good for you...

What are some benefits of not changing your guitar strings?
Old strings (dead strings) tend to be more stable and consistent in tone. Though eventually they do get played out and won't stay in tune and lose tone. Some prefer the sound (even seasoned pros).
