There isn't any fix time to learn guitar. But if you use to practice atleast an hour a day on daily basis then you can expect from yourself that you can clear your basics within span of 5-6 months. There isn't any fix time to learn guitar. But if you use to practice atleast an hour a day on daily basis then you can expect from yourself that you can clear your basics within span of 5-6 months. Which means you will get some basic understanding of the things work on guitar guitar or in music. And if talk about the decency of the tone, then you must have to give atleast 1 year to learn guitar to get that decent tone on your hand. read less
