Some branded instruments(4000-6000) produced better sound with lower price, some india products with same amount doesn't have the quality sounding. Visiting the store is best option and good quality sounding guitar can be hard and recognize easily...

A decent imported acoustic guitar(please don't buy any Indian brands like Givson, Grason etc) costs between 4–5k(INR). Go for brands like Granada, Ashton, Pluto, Havana, Clayton, GB&A etc. If you can increase your budget to 7–9k you get very good brands like Cort, Yamaha, Epiphone, Fender...

Go for brands like Granada, Ashton, Pluto, Havana, Clayton, GB&A etc. If you can increase your budget to 7–9k you get very good brands like Cort, Yamaha, Epiphone, Fender etc. Check out stores like Saptaswara Musicals(Mylapore), Sterling Music(Santhome), Musee Musicals(mount road), Lakshman Shruthi musicals(Vadapalani) etc. Don't go into a small music store which has limited options and the store guy forcing it on you that it's the best selling.
