How do you interpret tabs and play Guitar?

In tabs.. the topmost line represents the 1st string or the high E string. And the bottom most line represents the 6th string or the low E string. If a string is numbered inticates tjat string is to be struck and the number indicates the fret number to be fret

if you want to learn how to read tabs, you first need to learn how to read music. there are classes available for such.:)
