Practice alternate picking style....it will definitely boost your speed with some time and consistency. Start it on some basic scales and then move on to advance. Whenever you play a stoke then the next stroke will be in opposite direction. For e.g. if you play the first note as Down then the next one...

Practice alternate picking style....it will definitely boost your speed with some time and consistency. Start it on some basic scales and then move on to advance. Whenever you play a stoke then the next stroke will be in opposite direction. For e.g. if you play the first note as Down then the next one definitely will be Up and it continues to till you complete your scale. And there is one hack also tospeed up. Use Rubberband on your fingers and play normal finger exercises or scales on fretboard.....you will see the change on your fingers within the month. All the best! read less
