No .. Classical Guitar Is Supposed To Be Played Finger Style , Only Then We Can Get A Great Tone. Also We Cannot Play "Recuerdos De La Alhambra" With A Plectrum hahhaha ;)

Yes. Mark Knopfler say "plectrums are the simplest amplifiers". Using them with acoustic guitars gives louder and crispier sound.
