You learn when you are comfortable.

Since they get oxidised... So they won't produce good sound. So they cannot be reused

What are some benefits of not changing your guitar strings?
Old strings (dead strings) tend to be more stable and consistent in tone. Though eventually they do get played out and won't stay in tune and lose tone. Some prefer the sound (even seasoned pros).
