Practice: This is the most important point for any test, at least for the ones which require math. Avoid silly mistakes Give as many mocks as possible . Always time yourself while practising, and make sure you don't give too much room on solving a question while under the clock.

Many B-Schools have started accepting the GRE scores. And the GRE new format (after August 2011) tests you on several measures which were found only in GMAT. One thing is, the Critical Reasoning Section. Now in the GRE, you will have questions involving critical reasoning, though these are not as difficult as those found in the GMAT.
