She has almost seven years of experience in teaching Technical and Business English, designing curriculum, developing course content, training IELTS, developing e-learning material and story boarding, and training soft skills. She is skilled in using software tools- MS Office, MS Visio, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Captivate, Dreamweaver, Articulate- storyline, etc. She has developed many e-learning tutorials in her career. In order to strengthen her skills and keep abreast of current research, she attends ongoing educational programs.
Vimala has received a post graduate degree in English Language and Literature from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. She is also qualified APSET. She holds two post graduate diplomas (PGD in Teaching English Language & Literature and PGD in English language and Linguistics) from EFLU-Hyderabad and Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in distinction, and five certifications in Teaching English Language and Literature (PGCTE), Content and Language Integrated Learning (TKT-CLIL from Cambridge), Instructional Designing (ID), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with Business English as specialization, and IELTS Train the Trainer from British Council.
