Hi Dolly, It takes 6 months to do two levels of German A1 which is beginner, and A2 which is advanced. It again depends on how much time you can spend on learning this language. If you are working and simultaneously learn then it is a little hectic. If you are not working and can spend some good time to work on worksheets and do self study along with attending an institute you will definitely achieve good level of German. Everyone has different capabilities. Some are good in hearing and understanding, or some are good in writing and some in speaking. You can identify your strength and proceed accordingly. It depends entirely the level and the perfection of the language. A1 level you can do with in 1 or one and half month, if you seriously work hard. Each level takes 2-3 Months, if you study hard for 2-3 hours per day. The more you go up, you need to work harder.

Yes. It is a language not a rocket science. If enough practice is done you can master it but obviously it is not your mother tongue so the accent will be a bit different.
