Hi Sreeja, First of all let me tell you that you cannot attend a german university which offers courses in german language. You have to choose an university which offer the courses in english. Primary need of the language course is to ensure that you should not face any problem in day to day activities in Germany. So most of the colleges wants A2 level. But from my experience if you have enough time than try to complete till B2, which will make your life easy and wide up your opportunity for getting a good job with a good package. If you can communicate with your customer in Germany and get the thing done than your package will be definitely more atleast by 5-10K € yearly as compared to people who dont speak german. read less
