However, here is a short brief on both the languages, which would make it easier for you to make a decision. French Language: French is one amongst the popular foreign languages. In fact, this language is part of many schools and colleges education curriculum. Thus, there are millions of students who are currently studying this language as a part of their syllabus. Also, it is one of the best languages to learn for jobs in corporate sectors in India. Learning French can assure you a job in multiple industries like fashion, education,export-import etc. Many multinational companies use French as their working language. German Language: If compared to the other foreign languages like Arabic, Chinese, French, German is not so typical in India. In terms of popularity, it comes on the second no. One of the reasons behind is that German, as a language, is a little tough to learn as compared to the other foreign languages. Still, this language has a vast potential in it, as it is the most spoken mother tongue of Europe. If you look at the economy, then Germany is one of the most powerful countries. How many days are required to learn German
It depends on the level you plan to learn. A1 or beginners level can be completed within 60 hrs( 1.5 months) if it is a Monday- Friday class with a duration of 2 hrs/ day. Similar applies to A2.
