1. so what is the minimum time required to prepare for the Graduate Record Examination . 2. Also what in your opinion is the right way - directly after B tech or get into job and then go after 1 year or 2 years ?

Answer to Q.2 It is better to continue MS immediately after your UG. Since you are going to specialize in the area of your interest a break is not advisable. In case you are going to pursue MBA, then experience becomes necessary.

It depends upon the course & college you would be applying for. If the course gives some decent weight-age for work experience then apply to GRE after one year of work..otherwise, you ahead right after your college graduation. read less

You can prepare for the GRE within one month as well but it's always better if you spend good time with GRE practice and mock sessions. Moreover taking a Job for atleast two year in the relevant field will give you confidence and experience both.

Both are a good plan, in case you are planning USA, You should ideally start from very 5th semester. But if you are in 7th semester, join a job and apply for 2018. that will strengthen your profile. It depends on your dedication to set the time frame. GRE actually tests the basics with logical thinking skills. In my opinion, being a graduate, you can be ready in a month if you can spend 4-5 hours a day on that.
