Nozzle increases the velocity of a fluid while diffuser decreases the velocity of a fluid.

nozzle is used to increase K.E and decrease P.E. but diffusor is quit opposite to it

Nozzle is a device which increases the velocity of fluid from inlet to outlet. It is having the diversion section for increasing the pressure. While diffuser is the reverse device.
