Drumming is a whole lot about co-ordination. Being able to play differently with all 4 limbs (or atleast 3) is drumming. But then this only the physical aspect of playing. The mental/creative aspect of what and when to play is what you continue learning as you mature to be a musician.

I think its a stage that you go thru just like school. will 10th class be difficult compared to 1st? naturally so its a process of learning things systematically.

Hi, Sunitha, Nothing on the drums is difficult to master provided you're willing to put in the practice time and be patient. They say that practice makes perfect, but perfection is only an imaginary goal that no one actually attains. Practising with the following, more realistic goals in mind will really help you out in your musical journey - 1. Practice to get your playing to sound really good! (first to your ears, then to the ears of a professional musician/drummer, and lastly - the general public) 2. Practice to have great timing. Working with a metronome and playing along to music will really help you with this. 3. Practice to do justice to the music you play by understanding the musical context that you're in and support it well. 4. Practice to play comfortably with other musicians, and to put them at ease when they're playing. There's nothing quite as re-assuring for a band as having a dependable drummer hold the fort for them. 5. Practice just because playing the drums is so much fun! :-) If you do all these things consistently over time, you will find yourself that much closer to mastering whatever you play. Hope you find this answer helpful. read less
