You'll get e-drum-kits starting from 20k, but they'll be really bad. The most basic e-drum kit that sounds alright is the Alesis DM6, which is priced at about 35k. The really nice sounding electronic drum kits are the Roland td series, especially from the td - 15 onwards, but they are all priced at 1.5 lakhs upwards, and I think e-kits, even the best of them, don't sound half as good as a nice acoustic drum-kit. If you are a student, I would recommend going in for an acoustic kit with drum mutes though, because that will help you have a real feel of how a drum kit is supposed to feel, and also cut down the volume level at the same time. You can remove the drum mutes whenever you want the actual sound of the drum-kit, so it is quite convenient too. All in all, this should serve your purpose better. read less

Like any other thing in world, drums cost very very much. You can have it as low as 20K (not recommended) and as high as sky is the limit! Around 50K would give you quite good drums. But for a beginner/student acoustic drums should be preferred.
