If you clear JRF which stands for Junior research fellowship. So if you clear JRF then you get a fellowship for pursuing higher studies if you get enrolled in an University. On the other hand if you clear UGC NET you are eligible for lecturership position in Universities and colleges all over India affliated to UGC (University Grants Commission).

You can expect two things. You can either qualify for Junior Research Fellowship which will give you a good amount of scholarship to pursue higher studies after getting yourself registered in an University.
Or you can just qualify for NET which makes you eligible for applying for the post of lecturership through interviews/examnations.
