decreased. Will its rotational kinetic energy be also conserved?

No the kinetic energy will not be conserved, the moment of inertia will increase in 2 nd case.

Define the terms (i) inelastic collision (ii) perfectly inelastic collision.

In inelastic collision the kinetic energy is not conserved , the mechanical energy converted into heat light and sound after collision. In perfectly inelastic collision the two bodies stick together after the collision
