"Even after giving appointments like 4 times himself, he never shows up. Always give excuses for his unpunctuality and unprofessional behavior. Being a music lover myself, I have learnt from a lot of teachers since my childhood, but this person has no respect for other's time and energy. I wanted to take piano classes for my own child but this guy wasted 3 weeks of mine. He always keep on saying that I go to Camelias, I go to embassies to teach, but I doubt his words with a person being so unpunctual and unresponsive. Not this all, but he doesn't even pick up the calls or reply to messages after giving appointment for a class. "

He is a very unprofessional and unpunctual person. He gave me at least 4 times appointment for my child's class, but never shows up. Also doesn't reply to calls and messages. Being a working professional myself, I understand the value of time, but this guy has no value for his words and time of others. He wasted 3 weeks of mi e to start classes for my child. Upon reaching out that why he didn't came for class, he starts giving excuses every time. He says he take classes in Camellias and embassies for music but I am not sure how they deal with such unpunctual and unprofessional attitude of his. Being a music lover myself, I have taken education from at least 10 teachers since my childhood, but have never met a person with such attitude. I am sorry to say.

Hi Mihir!
I understand that there is always some free time during the pandemic, and it's best to make use of it. However, vocal training is the hardest over technology, so I would suggest you not to go for online classes. If it would be possible for you, only go for private lessons.
Online classes are a fail however much the teacher guarantees results. There will always be some little or more discrepancies on either sides and the result would never be 100%.
Rest, even as a working person, you will make out time for your hobbies, no doubt.

Here in India, it is a typical mentality to make children practice on toy-sized casinos. The drawback of those Casio are:
1. Sound quality.
2. Size of the key.
3. Incomplete set of the octave.
I've been a teacher of the Embassies in Delhi. In my advice, always go for a full-sized keyboard, whatever might the age be, if you're willing your child to learn the instrument appropriately respectfully. I'll suggest a good Casio option and a good keyboard option which wouldn't be hard on the pocket and still be the best in the market available. 1. Casio CTK-3500(7-8k)
2. Yamaha PSR-E363(11-12k)
These options are the best if you wish to make one-time investments with long-time fruitful results.

There is no definite period as to when exactly would you be able to play the keyboard. The only two factors that can determine the period in which you're able to play is-
1. Your grasping speed and interest. The more passionate you are about learning the instrument, more would you be engaged in the course.
2. The time you invest in practice. You can't master any art without practice. Practising the lessons at least 40 minutes a day would make be able to make you play the keyboard as a beginner within a month.

Hi Sahil,
Buying a guitar depends upon various factors.
Firstly, are you willing to learn guitar as a hobby or ready to clear grades/pursue as a career?
Secondly, the range. How much is your budget? You can get a guitar for 4k to 40k too.
If you wish to learn guitar as a hobby and not sweat too much money for it, then you can choose from brands such as Spectrum, Jazz, Kaps. They cost between Rs. 3500-5500. The cost varies from shop to shop.
On the other hand, if you are willing to achieve this learning as a long-term goal and willing to spend for it, you may choose from brands such as Fender, Yamaha, Lbanez. They might cost you between Rs. 10000-30000. You can also get Electro-Acoustic guitars under this range.
P.s. Genuine advice-Buy guitars from a shop instead of buying online.
