I have been playing the guitar and sing along for quite a few days. Now I want to improve my vocals as I am not classically trained. Will it be advisable for me as a working person who has some free time due to the pandemic?

Hey Mihir! Yes, you can do it as your hobby and as your passion because singing gives us peace and we enjoy listening to songs and singing songs.

Yes, 30 min of singing sessions three times a week would be a good start. However, I would suggest that you be mindful of how you sing and with the proper techniques as improper training will lead to bad habits that will result in damages to the vocal cords.

Definitely, you should learn classical vocals, at least for tuning your voice notes. If you can't give much time, then at least learn for 1 or 2 months. It will help your voice to be in tune.

Of course, you should go for it and try to learn some vocal exercises, techniques and lessons. Even if you dont want to get into classical, you still need to learn the basics of vocal music that will help you sing with guitar also later.
