For writing task 2(essay-that is worth more bands) you should focus more on strategy to write a good essay, because task response and cohesion are the primary criteria that have to be fulfilled. Coming to the other two,i.e. vocabulary and grammar; these two can be improved with simultaneous practice (use new words and idioms everyday in your writing and speaking). All the best!!

Practice of speaking english (an aricle everyday), listening english(news/movies), reading english (articles/novels or whatever you like) and writing english (essays. letters/academic task-depends on your test type). Once you have a good command over the language, practice sample papers everyday. Thats the key!

Hi, Answers which fulfill all the four criteria are awarded maximum band score. You should give a complete answer that should be grammatically correct, consists of a mixture of simple,compound and complex sentences, and also some uncommon words, phrases, idioms. An Expertise in speaking can be achieved through constant practice of reading aloud everyday and try to copy the fluency from english movies or news.
