IdentityI teach Social Science, English, and Hindi for students from Class 6 to 10 and have been passionately engaged in the field of education for over 25 years. Teaching has never been just a profession for me; it is a way to shape young minds, help them develop critical thinking, and nurture values that make them responsible citizens.
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Arts from L.N. Mithila University, along with a Bachelor of Library Science. To strengthen my academic foundation, I pursued a Ph.D. in Political Science with a specialization in Gandhian Thoughts from T.M. Bhagalpur University. Additionally, I have completed several professional development programs related to education, including capacity-building programs on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and Attitude and Values. I am also a CTET-certified teacher by CBSE, New Delhi.
One of the proudest moments in my career was being recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (Government of India) for the excellent performance of my students in CBSE secondary school examinations. Receiving a letter of commendation signed by Hon’ble Minister Smriti Irani was a truly humbling experience that reinforced my commitment to quality education.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse group of students across different schools and educational setups. My journey has taken me through prestigious institutions such as DPS Bokaro, DPS Bhagalpur, and even to RAO IIT Academy (Mumbai) for NTSE-level training. Currently, I am serving as a Senior Faculty Member in the Social Science Department at DPS School, and I also conduct online classes for NTSE and pre-foundation students at Vibrant Academy, Udaipur. Beyond academics, I have served in important pastoral roles as a Rector, Warden, and House Parent, which has given me deep insights into student behavior and holistic development.
My teaching philosophy revolves around making learning relatable, interactive, and engaging. I believe that education is not just about memorizing facts but about understanding, analyzing, and applying knowledge in real life. In my classes, I use PowerPoint presentations, videos, and interactive discussions to make lessons dynamic and interesting. Every session follows a structured plan, including concept explanation, interactive Q&A, practical examples, and doubt-clearing sessions.
What truly inspires me is the trust and appreciation I have received from students and parents over the years. With over 250 positive reviews, I feel grateful for the impact I’ve been able to create. For me, the ultimate reward is seeing my students not only succeed academically but also grow into confident, thoughtful, and responsible individuals who can contribute positively to society.
Teaching for more than two decades has taught me that learning is a lifelong process, and as an educator, I must keep evolving too. That’s why I actively participate in CBSE workshops and professional training programs to stay updated with the latest teaching practices. My goal is to continue guiding students with dedication and integrity, making every class a meaningful and transformative experience.
