Answer I would highly recommend you to go through Machine learning/Data Science courses in Udemy/Coursera/edx. These sites can be your starting point and if struck in understanding the concepts, you can approach people who are in this domain. Paying high for a DS course is useless when you have other options. Non technical background is not an hindrance. Its just depends on our interest and learning capability.
