Why is kathak so underrated?

Let's learn with pure heart

May because of gender issues in general...But I really can't think of any disadvantage of leaning Kathak. I never felt it as a drawback in learning this dance form. Kathak is a beautiful way of expressing the meaning of a line or BOLI using perfect expression and gestures.
