Clothes which makes you feel comfortable to dance, like track suits, etc which can stretch out.

Any kind of loose clothes like tracks, heram, loose t-shirt and avoid jeans, shirts and tight t-shirts. Because training includes lots of stretching and steps where you have to stretch so it would be very uncomfortable in tight clothes.

Kathak Dance Trainer

It depends on the type of dance you are doing.If you are doing western form,then you should wear comfortable and flexible western clothes .But when you are doing indian form basically kathak,you should wear leggings or salwar and kurtis
