Age is no barrier. My brother started at the age of 2. And now we have been in the industry for 22 years. And our academy in Bhilai offers the space for any age group (1-50+), and we encourage them about age being no barrier.

For learning classical dance the minimum age is 5 years. Actually 7 years is perfect age for learning classical dance. Normal dance one can do in any ageand 3 years is also good. In particularly classical, it requires stamina, correct postures, mainly patience, interest.
