You may pick any topics such as: Assume that you are been awarded for your performance and you need to present a small speech or assume that you are been Interviewed and asked about challenges in your life.... For that you need someone to talk to on a regular basis with whom you can discuss freely and clear your doubts and correct your mistakes without hesitation. He or she can be your friend, a close relative, a family member, a trainer, a teacher or a coach. The more you speak, the more you gain mastery. Secondly you need to read a lot., newspapers, magazines, interesting novels,etc. It is also essential that you listen to English news, talks, etc more and more. There are a few more things that can also help but the above 3 things can make a world of difference to your English speaking skill. read less

There are a lot of basic things you have to develop a habit of, such as reading (and you have to like it, so better go for articles/stories that interest you) and following good English speakers (good examples being news readers like Rajdeep Sardesai or Arnab Goswami) on TV. Inculcate a habit of speaking in English, texting in English. Also important to remember is never to be a lazy or casual learner. If you have a doubt regarding the correctness of a sentence or a word, make sure you at least jot it down somewhere so that you can clarify the doubt. One learns more from mistakes, mind you. Never compromise on grammar, spellings. Vocabulary comes only after that. And finally, do buy this great book that will be of your help eternally. I'm talking about 'Word Power Made Easy' by Norman Lewis. Hope this helped. read less

We are humans and are bound to create mistakes.Active listening is essential to improve communication skill or to become a good speaker. So rather than trying to be a good dictionary or a perfect grammar book, concentrate on fluency by just speaking.Grammatical perfection comes normally because as your listening skills improve , you start making fewer mistakes grammatically. read less
