It's a indentity of a database the content in it is not repeated For example. ID number of a student can be use as a primary key as every student will have different identities.

Current is not a scalar quantity....its a tensor quantity as its direction is fixed. Current density is current per unit area and as area is a vector quantity so is the current density.
