Decimal expansion of real number
- when remainder becomes zero after some steps then decimal expansion terminates i.e 33/8= 4.125
- when remainder does not become zero and repeated after a certain stage then expansion becomes non-terminating repeating decimal expansion for example 5/6 = 0.8222.
