However Saturn has more number of rings which are visible from our planet with a basic astronomical telescope. This says that all the gas giants in our solar system possess rings, reasons being many like 'moons inside roche limit break apart to form these rings', 'any comet passing too close to these planets may break apart or bombard with a moon to push them into the roche limit' etc. However, the main trait lies in the hugeness of the planets and so an immense gravitational force. read less

Almost every planet has rings but they are not densed and dark. In case of Saturn scientists believe that the rings are made up of snoy icy balls which are densed and reflects sun light that makes them visible

Saturn's rings are made of ice and rock. These pictures vary in size. Some are as small as grain of sand. Others are as large as a house.bit scientists are sure that how Saturn's rings are are formed they think that the rings might have something to do with. Earth has only one moon.but Saturn's has...

Earth has only one moon.but Saturn's has atleast 60 moons orbiting it that we know about.asteroids and meteroids sometimes crash into these moons and break them into pieces. The rings could be made from these broken pieces of moons. read less

Saturn's rings are basically made up of ice (90-95 %). So, as we know that ice blocks are good reflectors of light, they are visible even from distance. These ice are just left overs from earlier phases of Saturn's creation. Currently the giant planet itself consists mainly of gaseous substances and...

becauase saturn has the strongest gravitational force which keeps the dust particles to rotate in an orbit

The rings of Saturn are made of much more reflective material (water ice) than those of Jupiter, Uranus or Neptune.

Saturn rings are due fumes and vapors(ice) cloud present in environment. The solar winds are not able to carry away that cloud in space, but in other planet cases solar wind wipe the cloud in space.
