Ionization enthalpy depends on the following factors- a) size of an atom: the larger the size of an atom smaller is the size of ionization enthalpy. As the size is large electrons ads far away from the nucleus and less energy is required to remove them. b) screening effect-higher the screening effect lesser is the value of ionization enthalpy as screening effect reduces the force of attraction between the nucleus and hence outer electrons can be easily removed. c) nuclear charge- as the nuclear charge increases among atoms having same no.of energy shells the ionization enthalpy increases because the force of attraction towards the nucleus increases. d) half and fully filled orbitals- half and fully filled orbitals are more stable hence more energy is required and therefore ionization enthalpy is high. e) shape of the orbital- s-orbital Is more close than p-orbital hence p orbital can be easily removed therefore ionization enthalpy follows the order s>p>d>f read less

Should I join coaching in class 12 for the JEE? I haven't joined any coaching in class 11.
If you're serious about JEE, you should join a coaching institute. There are thousands of students out there studying from morning to late night and it's a hard nut to crack without proper coaching
