Third zero will be '1' f(x)= 2x^3+3x^2-5x-6 Zeros are a,b and c. ab =3 (given) Product of zeros= - constant term/coeff. of x^3 = -(-6/2)=1 So c= 3/3=1

I don’t think the question is correct. The product of three roots = - Const/ coefficient of cubic term which yields -(-6)/2=3. Since product of two roots is 3 then the third one has to be 1. But 1 can’t be the root of equation. As one can easily subtitle x=1 in the equation and see it doesn’t yield 0. However, the question will be correct if one says that the product of two root is -3. Then answers would be -1, -2 and 3/2. read less
