QUESTION

If (x, y, z) is an ordered triplet such that 6x + 5y + 2z = 53, where x, y and z are positive integers, then what is the difference between maximum and minimum value of
x + y + z?

 

ANSWER

OA=13 , 6x+5y+2z=53

to maximize the value ..maximize z as much as possible bcz that will give u max value of x+y+z
means minimize x and y

so x=1 and y=1

so 6+5+2z=53 so z=21

now for min value maximize x as max as possible

so x=6 and y=3 and z=1 so 23-10=13
