To be honest, there is no style you can pick up in only a months time but maybe a basic understanding of any dance form. Each style has its own vocabulary, its genre of music and techniques and no dance form is structured in a way that it can be learnt so early on. Takes time, effort and dedication. My suggestion for you would be to join any of the studio classes where they teach routines. You don't really learn how to dance on your own but at least you'll have the satisfaction of learning a choreography since you want something quick and easy.
I am interested in dance, complete beginner. All I want is to be able to dance naturally in a party/club and not look funny. Interested in western dance forms like hip-hop,break. What is best form to begin with to free up your body to move to the groove/ beat?

hey Sandeep, if your interest is in hip hop or any other styles of dance, don't hesitate, go to nice reputed academy or studio and learn any style of your wish but from the basic. because it's very important to clear your basic moves first. or there is one more option, you can join a Zumba fitness class nearby you for clubs or party but the trainer should be licensed because there are lots of fake trainers. now go, try and experience but don't give up...... :)

first month, just do exercise for dance, and then choose either bollywood or freestyle, you'll learn faster if you will give your first month to dance exercises and warmups.

Hello abhisekh. Dance is not about only learning. Its about the technique. Even people who dance to the tune of dhol in visarjans 90% of them are non dancers. Its about letting yourself flow without being aware of the surround. What i understand is u r a dancer but u r just not confident in public. Raise ur confidence... Say urself.. I dont care what anybody think of me.. I will go in my own way. Thats it..!!

Therefore, the correct translation would be a dance drama that encompasses expression, melody and rhythm.
