If you want to implement SEM, you'll have to know Google Ad, and Social Media Ads such as Facebook Ad and LinkedIn Ad so that by giving these ads you should be able to promote your business effectively. While giving these Ads you have to customize them for your audience.

What is the importance of SEO in fast growing e-commerce industry these days?

When you type certain keywords related to product you wish to buy, the concerned e-commerce site offering the product will appear in first few positions of search engine results. This increases the possibility of your visiting the e-commerce site and buying the product.
