I am a self taught drummer who played for one of India’s first all girl rock band that performed in various venues in the country. I have five years of experience playing the drums and have been teaching the drums part time for the last one year.

"Deepika is my tutor including my grand daughter too. We both zero in drumming but with in few months we both have started performing in our community progrqms very confidently. I can now perform’ Dil to pagal hey’ as well as ‘ mehindi lagake rakhana’ on the stage. Apart from the songs Deepika taught both of us various important & most popular drum beets. Many of our friends have become our fans. This is just due to Deepika & her most unique drum teaching techniques. I strongly recommend her name & one must experience her drum class at lest a month. We learn twice a week & one hour is a class duration. All the best : Regards, Sarang Nirmal , Holi Sai baba Shirdi. "

"Deepika is an extraordinary drum teacher. She has a perfect understanding of the sequence of the lessons/ patterns to be taught to the students. Myself & my granddaughter Jui have enrolled ourselves in the class with Deepika & having really amazing learning experiences. She has a mastery over drumming & most importantly the way she teaches. It’s a very interesting & celebrating to learn drum from Deepika. She is having a very clam temperament while teaching.. she hate wasting a single minute in the class & this is worth learning from her . Deepika always consider any changes in the class schedule in case of emergency. She never overburdens with heavy home work. We always feel very playful in her drumming class. Myself & my granddaughter are very happy & lucky to have Deepika as our drum teacher. We wish all the best for her.
