Chennai Sports Academy

Chennai Sports Academy opened its doors to students in 2005 at the Sir M. Venkatasubba Rao Matriculation School, T.Nagar. To begin with the Academy had eight students – 3 children in football, 5 in yoga.

Gradually, these eight students help spread the wings of the Academy with their discipline, attitude and consistent winning performances. Now this team has been enlarged with 182 students in various sports platform like Badminton, Table tennis, Roller skating, Chess and Gymnastics as these sports we are coaching in regular weekdays and weekends in June to March month. We are also providing summer coaching classes for all youngsters from the age group of four to seventeen and they are as follows:Football, Basketball, Army adventure, Fitness, Yoga, western dance, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Swimming and horse Riding. Word spread among the parents of the host school about the Academy’s systematic coaching and skilled training – which was on ample display one Sports Day.
