First of all if it is your own company then talk to HR and find out whether there is vacancy in development and what are the qualification and requirements to work in development. Second talk to people in development to find out whether you are a good fit to work in that department. Third talk to your Boss about the possibility to working in develpment provided he is open minded and wants you to progress. If you dont get any opportunity in your own organisation, apply in other organisations. Although you can do many other things, but hope above will help. All the best read less

I am working for a support project in a service based company.  I have 9 months of experience. But I am not happy with the work. I want to quit this job after a year and move to development.
