Hello all, I have competed B.Com, MBA and 5 yr worked experience in SAP PLM engineering documentation but institute suggested me SAP MM course. Is it necessary to ERP- SAP MM mech engineering education background.

In simple they suggest because they don't find the faculty for SAP PLM, Any Graduate can do SAP MM, SD, WM and so on. If you have experience in PLM, then you can do PLM Module. Either relevant qualifications and experience will help Strengthen your career in sap. Your qualifications may not with respect to PLM but you have experience and in some cases candidate is qualified or coming engineering back ground like mechanical, production or industrial and so on can also take up PLM If they wanted to make their entry. SAP MM is the core module even before PLM is recommended or as an optional and can go directly do PLM. read less
